House Hunting Update!
This week was the week we were supposed to close on the house that I mentioned in an earlier blog. However our plans have changed! Soon after we went into contract for this house we learned that the builders planned to build a house with the exact same floor plan two blocks away for a better price. So we canceled our contract and entered into a new contract for our new home that will be completed in May!!! The only draw backs are that we have to stay in the apartment much longer then we wanted and the house won’t be completed by our baby’s expected due date. So Baby Texan will have to co-sleep with mama and papa until the construction of our new home is completed.

ReplyDeleteOh wow! Iove new houses! And lower prices! And co sleeping for a little while wont hurt. It will make breastfeeding easier!
ReplyDeleteLove getting a good deal! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThat's exciting that your home will be brand new! I'm sure baby Texan will love it once you're all moved in :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you three!! I know it'll be kind of tough at first with being so pregnant/having a newborn but it will all work out!
ReplyDeleteI've heard buying a house can be super stressful, but I think you guys are doing the right thing and waiting for the right one! it's a place you'll be in for years so it's worth the wait :)
ReplyDeleteBaby Texan won't mind! Having a brand new home is a blessing. Everything is just working out for you guys!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteThat's good that you found out about the better priced house now. Buying a house is always tricky in that you must act on things quickly but if you act too quickly, you may miss a better deal, better house, etc.
ReplyDeleteNya lived the first 8-9 months of her life in an apartment. It wasn't ideal for convenience reasons, but it worked. I'm sure, however, that Baby Texan will do just fine! With babies, so long as they're close to mama, they really don't care about anything else! :)
Congrats on your house!
