I have an uppababy. love it. best stroller ever.
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely on the right track! We registered for one of those travel systems with Carter- I WISH SOMEONE TOLD ME DONT DO IT! When you plan to hopefully have more children that stroller you have up there, is the way to go! I am SO torn between the Britax and the Baby Jogger.. I have some serious research ahead of me to do. I've heard mixed reviews about both- but I think the Baby Jogger might be the one for us..
ReplyDeleteI really need to see them both in person and play around with them. The configuration of the second seat (which we'll need) looks much safer/more fun in the Baby Jogger than the britax.. Hmm.. ! :)
Happy Shopping!
if you are planning on having two close together, the second one is a better choice. and it looks like it could be a jogger too! I have three strollers. Blank stare.....I couldn't make up my mind...
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine has the double Britax but got the double Baby Jogger because she haaated the Britax :/ Her kids are 12 months apart and the older one did not like sitting in the back so low and she said the Baby Jogger is a godsend and so easy to store. I don't know from my own experience obviously but she swears by her new one! Hope that helps some!
ReplyDeleteThe City Select is a great stroller! Even though it does have features of a "Jogging Stroller" - like a hand brake, front wheel suspension and locking front wheels - it wasn't designed to be a true "Jogging Stroller."

I had a combo stroller when we lived in Philadelphia but in NYC the Uppababy worked great. I like the 2nd choice because it grows with the family and folds up great for tossing in the trunk.
ReplyDeleteI decided against a travel system because everyone I know who got one complains how bulky they are and how they haven't really been able to use it. I have a Chicco stroller, an umbrella stroller, and one of those thingies that the baby carrier snaps into. I am going to see how it goes.... because I think we're going to get a jogging stroller too. Ha.
ReplyDeletethose are great strollers! I think the most important thing for us will be lightweight and less bulky- I honestly know I'll will hate taking it around if it's a huge hassle to open, close, lift, and maneuver in stores.
